Briley has been waiting for this day for a long time!!!!! She was so excited to go to school. It was a happy and a sad day for me because I new she would have fun make some friends and learn some new things but now she will be out of the house ever day until she is graduated. It just happened so fast!! I love her so much and I know her teachers will love her too!

Preschool

Briley got excepted to preschool for the next school year on a full scholarship!!! We really didn't think she would get anything because she ranked so high on all of her tests. It's just a blessing in disguise! She is so excited, but it makes me kind of sad at the same time because I know that she is growing up! Pretty soon Bailey will be in school as well and then I won't know what to do with myself!!! I can't wait to go school shopping and get her a lunch box and a backpack and all of the fun school accessories that she will need.

I'm trying to think of some cute ideas for my girls this Halloween. I want them to be original and have fun! There are so many choices! Briley saw a picture of Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz and said thats what she wanted to be. She said mom I'm Dorthy and you are Auntie Em......... I said, I don't know about that. She said but mommy Zoey (our dog) can be toto and Bailey can be the Lion! She is to cute! I'm sure she will think of alot more ideas before Halloween actually gets here.

Man my little sweetie Briley has a very vivid imagination, and I asked my mom if she could have gotten that from me and she said oh yeah! There was no hesitation. One day I heard Briley talking to her self which happens quite often, and asked who she was talking to and she said my handsome prince. After that there were introductions to be made, and she said mom I would like you to meet my handsome prince. I thought that it was the cutest thing! Some times I catch her calling our little dog toto or todd and or bigger dog copper or cheif! The things she comes up with! She gets most of her characters from her movies she just loves watching a movie in her bean bag or on her bed. I couldn't have asked for a cooler little 3 year old, we are already movie buds!

Living away from your Family is harder than I ever imagined. When your in High School, you depend on your family for everything whether it is your morals your religion, your friends, food shelter, advice, memories etc. They are always there. Even-though you don't realize it at the time they are always behind you. When you go off to college you feel an overwhelming sense of FREEDOM! You can't wait for all of the new experiences that you are going to be having, all on your own with no one to tell you what to do, when to be home, when to eat, if you eat. Waking up and getting your butt to your eight o'clock class is all on you and you figure that's how you like it. You make lots of supposed life long friends and share memories to last a lifetime. All the while not even wondering about what your family might be doing at those exact moments. Then one day you meet the man of your dreams the one you have envisioned since you were a little girl minus the white horse. At that moment you know everything is going to change. You don't necessarily know what will change but you know that it will. My family means so much to me and I miss them everyday. They are my best friends and the people who keep me in check. They know what makes me laugh, what gets me fired up and how to comfort me when I'm sad. I can't say it enough that I love them and miss them. Cherish every moment that you have with your family you never know how far away you will live someday.

Easter 2009

We Love Easter at our house! Coloring hunting and church! Bailey didn't quite know what to think about coloring her easter eggs. She just wanted to dip her hands in the dye and lick them. Briley loved coloring on her eggs and then dropping them in the dye. I caught her a couple of time licking her fingers too! The Easter bunny did a great job hiding the eggs this year, it took a little while for bailey to find an egg and then when she did she just stuck it right in her mouth. It wasn't easy getting the dye off her mouth befor Easter dinner at Papi and Nanna's. We didn't buy new easter dresses this year because Bailey fit into Briley's old one from last year and Briley got a new dress from her auntie Desi. Which was good because they don't make dresses for little girls anymore with sleeves!

Here are the two cutest bugs ever! Briley is our little Lady Bug and Bailey is our little Bumble Bee. Auntie Alya made these precious costumes for her little nieces. Everyone loved them and I got so many compliments but I had to tell everyone that it was not my handi- work but my talented younger sister Alison!! Thanks Ali we really appreciate it!!!! I made Briley and Bailey dress up in their tu tu's because I wanted to take some pictures. Man its hard to focus a 2 year old and an 8 month old at the same time. Briley was getting so frustrated therefore so was I I kept saying to myself just a couple of more and if you smile I'll give you a great big suprise. It worked for a little while with Briley but Bailey was not impressed it was probably the language barrier. We were so lucky to go see my sister Alison in Beaver Creek, Colorado a little community that was just awesome but clearly for the rich. We had so much fun looking through all of the shops eating at fancy restaurants, playing at the park and spending time with Auntie Alya. We went to this restaurant that had the grossest high class food ever. Our meal could have been over 150 but we stuck to salads and water. This would be the perfect place for a honey money because you wouldn't have to go far to enjoy the amenities.

Why do they have to grow up? It seems like everyday Bailey learns something new she has been starting to do things so early and I think it's because she wants to keep up with Briley. She started crawling at 6 1/2 months pulling herself up at 7 1/2 and saying da da at 8 months what's next........dating!!!!!!!

Briley's 2nd Birthday!

Briley didn't get a very impressive first birthday so I decided to make up for it on her second one. She would probably remember it a little better anyway. Kole and I threw her a pool party and in March in Colorado I don't know if that was a good idea. In most southern states its already summer but in Craig Colorado we didn't get that note. It was still alot of fun we had a big ball that sprayed out water a big pool that only Briley stayed in the whole time. What a brave little girl. I finally had to take her out when she started turning blue. We had a slip 'n' slide, pinata, hand crafted flower cupcakes and a bunch of friends, all boys except our friend Ashley who's 11 and Alana who isn't even 1. Bailey slept the whole time and that was ok because we wanted everyone to have a good time, and I think that we suceeded.

Briley enjoyed dying easter eggs and hunting them, the only problem was instead of gently putting them in her basket she threw them in. She made the job of peeling them alot easier! I tryed to find matching easter dresses but the selection in Craig is preety slim. So that both wore polka dots.
